I agree with newtosilver, my dealings with Maggie/Cheryl were always appreciated. She was a kind woman who was always positive and very kind in her business and dealings with people. Other dealers could certainly learn from her customer service. A fantastic and valued SS member who didn't just use this site to deal but also contributed to discussions. Thank you Maggie.
This wonderful lady will be missed. My husband and I are shocked at this sad news. She treated us as if we were friends not just customers. On behalf of Argento and myself we would like Cherly's family to know that she was respected and trusted by two complete strangers who simply knew her as Maggie.
My condolences to Russ & the family. Maggie you were one of the rare ones, you will be missed dearly. Nothing was ever too much trouble & you treated everyone with respect, which is very rare in this day & age. But now you are at peace & looking at down at us silly bastards stacking PM's, no more rat race for you RIP Maggie I will miss you. Shane xoxo
This sums up my beautiful Nanna: www.urbandictionary.com 1. maggie A girl who doesn't trust or fall in love easily. (CAUTION: if you are lucky enough to have her fall for you, she has a soft heart that is easily hurt. Be good to her.) She can be confusing, but only needs you to tell her and things will clear up. She can be beautiful inside and out. Her spirit draws you to her like a magnet. Once you know her, everyday is new. You can never be sure that you know everything about her.
I have taken the last 24hrs to digest this sad news..... never good with words in times like this. I tend to just go into a speechless gaze. Maggie was like the wise mother hen of this forum - always saw the best in people, and while the kids would all be busy squabbling, not a bad word spoken, and everyone looked after equally. Kind words can be short and easy to speak, but their echoes are truly endless. You will be missed.
I hv had the privilege to deal with Maggie...she was truly sincere & professional. She'll be missed by all of us.... RIP Maggie... PS- the good die young....
I'm deeply saddened by this news, Maggie was one of the nicest people I've had the pleasure to know from the net. She was always concerned for others, never had a bad word, went over & beyond all expectations for people she had dealings with for no other reason then that's who Maggie was & will always remain to be to me & I'm sure countless others. My first & only purchase on EBay was through Maggie, even though I'd read the warnings & heard the horror stories on the forum Maggie made me completely at ease. I soon convinced Maggie to move onto the forum & get away from the fee's & hassles EBay were causing her & each time we spoke she was sure to remind me of what a mess I had gotten her into whenever their was a big order being organised jokingly. Maggie was the kind of person that reminded me that I should be kinder to others & less harsh on others by her deeds & actions. She always said she would drive poor Russ up the wall but how much she loved him & would be lost without him. She would also always mention her love for her children & grand children & of course Maggie T. My thoughts are with Russ & the family please don't hesitate for even a second if you need anything or we can do anything at all at this time, Maggie was & is loved by so many you are never alone.
I just logged on for the first time this weekend .... Absolutely smashed to hear that terrible news. Dealt with Maggie a few times over the past year and she always been a real gem .... I send my deepest sympathy to her family at this difficult time.
Just goes to show the calibre of lady Maggie was, when so many people who have not met her consider her a friend. I am one of those. R.I.P.
I just received the terrible news whilst at a silver stackers meeting here in Adelaide. We talked about some of our experiences with the wonderful Maggie and even managed to find a photo of her enjoying herself in a pool. She touched many, many lives, always had a kind word and gently reminded more than one member of the value of courtesy and patience. She will be sorely missed here on the forum. My families condolences to Russ and family. Thank you for sharing Maggie with us. Danny and family.
I'm lost for words... Maggie was one of the nicest, honest and most reputable person to trade with on these forums. RIP, she will be missed. Condolences to Russ and Family.
As everyone else here I am shocked and saddened by this news. On behalf of the female stackers I would like to thank Maggie for paving the way - it is not always easy as a female in any field that is male dominated ( I know from my work experience). My deepest sympathies to the family, and thanks to Mystery for the lovely words.
Maggie was a lovely lady. Glad to have had the pleasure to deal with her over the past few years. I am happy to chip in a couple oz's towards a very big 'silver & gold' wreath.
