As i have told you before, how would you know i am lying? If you did not receive the item? I packed the item so i know how i packed it and you only have your assumption based on an envelope.

Howudn, can you post a pic with a ruler next to the envelope rip? If the rip is the same size as the diameter of the coin, then there is no way there was cardboard in the packaging. (or it was packed very poorly)
If the rip is larger.. then it become less clear cut and maybe it should be a 50:50 loss.

On the pic. of the envelope, you can see the outline of the coins. Some smart allec in Aust. Post may have pocketed the score.
Your only as good as your last send !

De ja vu lol - makes me think of a normal padded envelope that I had delivered once. The whole envelope was handed to me in a plastic bag by the postie...I asked why the plastic bag...to which he replied, that they had to pick up the coins off the floor, hence the plastic bag...luckily the 95 florins were all there.

But lesson learned, moved on, & won't buy off the person again. Very shoddy packaging.

"Package the coins you send in a manner that you would like receive yours!" :)

    ^^ This.
You can see where the milled edge rubbed the envelope.
    I'd be pissed.
Stealthy disguise is the only proper way.

Curious... Did you received all 3 coins you have purchased from the seller, or there are some coin missing (could have dropped due to the opening on the envelope)?

I also don't think you deserve negative feedback from this Howudn, you kept up your part of the trade and the seller has his money. You shouldn't get negative feedback for something that has happened from their end to yours(however it did happen)

    Parcel by bloomst simple step.

    http://forums.silverstackers.com/message-526496.html#p526496

Have dealt with Hem9 - I have no problem with him, even offer me a free upgrade parcel, a true gentleman.

Lesson to learn all. Do not sell yours items for minimum postage. ( ie. charge what is required for packaging and box )
It's nothing wrong to deny a sale if goes below standard parcel level a buyer would pay for.

For 3 coins it is not hard to tape the edge of an envelope or use a bubble lined envelope all cost alot less then the postage I paid

Didn't say you are wrong either. If everyone follow the same protocol, we shouldn't have this problems arising.

All this noise for 3 x 50's seller should just cough up and send replacements, end of story.

You would have to be a numbnuts to post loose coins in an envelope.
