    Congrats on the coin.

I love the 1kg proof snake and am still amazed that it did not sell out at the mint with a mintage of only 500!

Perth's snake is a beautiful design. I'm surprised why the 2013 snake isn't more popular based on the premiums.

I think it will increase in premium over time. Dragon hangover was something it was saddled with and that will fade over time IMHO.

WoW nice proofs, I think it suffered being sandwiched between the dragon and horse

How much are the proofs in premium compared to the bullion. Clearly mines a bullion but I actually really like the Matt look.

Fantastic collections guys. I'm very jealous! I'll need to pull my finger out and buy some more!

I really like the snake, prefer it a lot more to the horse. And the 10oz is a very nice size. Probably the nicest size in my opinion.

I miss the 1/2kg coin. Bought a Lunar Tiger a while back and it's great to have a huge 1kg diameter coin, just thinner.

I think that the series 1 snakes are more of a timeless design. The original Chinese lunars don't have that much of a design, but look pretty good. One day I will have a complete pr69 set lol

Why did they stop that size? Too similar to the 10oz and the mint didn't have enough equipment to continue producing everything it does?

Just remember, don't over extend your finances, make sure you can actually afford it, small things here and there add up, prioritize

I wouldn't worry too much. The boss (wife to be) and me both have pretty good jobs so have my own little pot each month. I shall just chip away at collecting as the months go by... as time passes and our careers progress further I should have more to spend and allow me to catch up more :)

I think the snake is much nicer than the horse - what a great collection

I agree. I don't really have much interest in the horse but I shall get the set going forwards just to keep the collection going. Will need to sideline 200 for the 10oz coin through the next few months.
