A very rare Deak International Australia Bar Only a paragraph about this company in the link below http://www.perthmint.com.au/refinery-history.aspx
I was a little upset that I sold my first Deak bar to another collector last week. However I managed to replace the 1ozer with a 1/2oz cutie in a trade
Wow that was quick. Perthbullion listed some engelhard australia gold bars for around 1750 AUD each and they're all gone now.
Perthbullion has a 5oz Golden West Refining 99.99% gold bar : Source: http://www.perthbullion.com/shop/detail/gwrgbo5/
The history is more complicated than we may ever get to know http://www.salon.com/2012/12/02/better_than_bourne_who_really_killed_nick_deak/ http://exiledonline.com/who-remembers-the-strange-hit-job-on-nicholas-deak/ http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/art...rder-CIA-financier-killed-homeless-woman.html
Hi I thought I would share this with you guys in the forum. This nice looking deak international bar made its way over to Toronto, Ontario Canada. A fellow dealer purchased it off the public. Kind of neat how the gold bars seem to travel all across the world, and sometimes back!
Very nice bar! Saw the 1oz version on this forum not long ago. Think it could still be on eBay for sale too.
Hello, Just wondering if anyone had seen one of these or had any info about it? Came across it recently. Thanks!!
10g CCCP gold ingot, a very rare goverment issue. The ingot was made during USSR era and the smallest of its type.
Not sure if it's Rare, Collectable or Vintage but I found this little fella while cleaning out my sock draw on the weekend Source:
