I decided to pick a different bar this time and went with a silver bar called OPM metals but once I went home I start having second thoughts about it.. I bought these from KJC store. The reason I started having second thoughts were because it doesn't look like silver

Can someone just reassure me that these are real. Thank you.

OPM is a well known private mint in the US. Their rounds and bars are good quality, they're real.

Those are frosted silver bars. Which really are just a fancy name for (bean or sand) blasted silver bars. I wouldnt be worry as long as weight and dimensions checks out. Had one of those and ended up selling it cuz i coulndnt stand looking at a grey bar.

Just the finish they use. Possibly something to do with the fact that they use recycled silver? PAMP have 2 different finishes and some people prefer one over the other.

KJC are 100% legit, seriously wouldn't be worried. Get yourself a decent scales, neodymium magnet, spatula and an ultrasonic testing thingy to allay any future doubt.

OPM/NTR are biggest bullion producer in world. And KJC can be trusted 100%. The finish is unique, by tumbling/blasting or acid dipping, not sure exactly how. It is good because it makes it much harder to cover up sidewall drill holes.

    Just a quick question,

What was it that you didn't like about the bullion bars? was it the finish or the simplicity of them?

curious as they are always really well priced and was looking to get some.

Like its been said already no need to worry, you got some good bars! I bought a couple of these in the beginning because of the low premium. They are a great value if you are stacking for weight and don't mind the Grey sandblasted color. They are not renown for thier beauty but that is not going to matter when the price of silver rises.

Well I guess the finish, when you buy silver or even gold you always want that shiny look to it which this doesn't have. Good thing is thought it's the lowest regarding premium in the whole shop and I am a man that collects silver for wealth/investment not so much looks. I wouldn't buy these bar's again though nor sell them.
