just wondering if I am reading right the total mintage of these 5 oz coin is only http://www.usmint.gov/about_the_mint/index.cfm?action=PreciousMetals&type=bullion approx. 33000 ?
For each of the 2010's it is. 2010 Hot Springs 33,000 2010 Yellowstone 33,000 2010 Yosemite 33,000 2010 Grand Canyon 33,000 2010 Mount Hood 33,000 2011 Gettysburg 126,700 2011 Glacier 126,700 2011 Olympic 104,900 2011 Vicksburg 58,100 2011 Chickasaw 48,700 2012 El Yunque 24,000 2012 Chaco Culture 24,400 2012 Acadia 25,400 2012 Hawaii Volcanoes 20,000 2012 Denali 20,000 2013 White Mountain 35,000 2013 Perry's Victory 30,000 2013 Great Basin 30,000 2013 Fort McHenry 30,000 2013 Mnt Rushmore 35,000 2014 Great Smoky Mountains 27,500 2014 Shenandoah NP 19,600 2014 Arches NP n/a 2014 Great Sand Dunes NP n/a 2014 Everglades NP n/a
All the 2010s are 33,000 how come some have higher premiums than others? Just that they are more popular landmarks? Also will a 2014 one for example have a high premium in a few years like the 2010s?

The numbers house posted are bullion version. The "P" is the collector's edition, which has an even lower mintage. That's why I believe these will have a high upside potential, and many of them already have.
There are no mintages limits on the no P bullion but they only mint until the next coin releases. Arches is now in preorder and should ship on the 25th of this month
The first time I came across mention of the 5 oz America the Beautiful coins was on eBay I believe. I did not realize for a couple of months after this initial discovery of mine that there were 2 versions for each release; a bullion version and a collector version. I will be making an effort at buying every "P" collector issue since the first and certainly now that the US Mint offers the reduced cost subscription rate for the "P" version, it only makes sense to buy them directly from the mint instead of paying considerably more in the after market. Now I have to try to find bargains for the earlier issues I never ordered from the US Mint because I was late to the game on this series....too bad for me I guess but I definitely want to put together a complete series of the America The Beautiful "P" collector version in the original government packaging (OGP). .
I'm not sure which dealer in Aus carry these, but I offered to help fellow Aus stackers get them for less than any dealer will offer. A few of you guys have taken up the offer so far. http://forums.silverstackers.com/topic-53641-fs-5oz-atb-arches-coin-below-cost.html
If someone like Iluvbeanz is generous enough to offer folks from overseas the opportunity to buy these at or close to the subscription price then I would say you can't get a better gift than this and take that members' offer up now. Seriously, this member rocks for doing this and if I lived outside the US I'd be dropping him a pm right now asking him where to send the check. I do not personally know this member and I gain nothing by giving props to this member. I'm just stating that the service is a gift to other SS forum members. .
Many forms can be both, IMO. United States Mint America the Beautiful Silver Bullion Coins are investment-grade silver bullion coins. Their weight, content and purity are guaranteed by the U.S. government. United States Mint America the Beautiful Silver Bullion Coins, with their unique U.S. government backing, may be sold for cash at many coin and precious metals dealers. They are also legal tender. Their quarter-dollar face value is symbolic, because silver's market price reported in the market pages and Web sites of major newspapers has historically been much higher. America the Beautiful Five Ounce Silver Uncirculated Coins for Collectors The collector ("numismatic") version of the bullion coin is produced with an uncirculated finish. It has the "P" mint mark for the United States Mint at Philadelphia. The coin is encapsulated in plastic, accompanied by a presentation case and Certificate of Authenticity, and is produced in limited quantities. " To me, "Legal tender" means coin. Bullion means round.
Rounds are just bullion and generic silver. Coins have a face value on them, and are backed by government. Even though these 5oz pieces have a very small face value, it's still technically a coin because you can go in a store and spend them. Although, it would be beyond stupid to spend them for 25cents when you purchased them for $120+
