They appeared on Gainesville Coins for a bit. There was a post on here that mentioned dealers got in trouble for pricing them in numismatic territory when the mint/government wanted them as a bullion product. They're not listed on Gainesville anymore. And I thought we lived in a capitalist market...
numismatics people can have their numismatics... but it is a very nice piece of mintage, that reeding is gorgeous. anyway, it's inevitable in a capitalist marketplace that you have the rarified unobtanium dealers who you can't even get into their shop without being friends with the elite inner circle, viz. the haute couture market... i personally am happy with mass produced reasonable quality minted 999 silver bullion coins, to me it's money, or will be money, and monetary metals are valued by the ounce not by the mint.
I was actually one of the few that had their initial order filled by APMEX. The coins were really nice but do no compare to Perth 10 Lunars etc. I ended up flipping mine on eBay.
