The King of Thailand is primarily a ceremonial position, but he is an important figure much like heads of state in other constitutional monarchies. AFAIK, he hasn't made any public statements yet. That is not a good sign.

Yep, I just came here to post an update but got beaten to it I said they would be upfront about it and they are... no more pretending to work with the caretaker government now! I don't think it is such a bad thing personally. edit: As an update, I just lost all my international news channels and they have been replaced with some 'feel-good' reel of military officers at Buddhist temples :lol:
