Wait until you grow hair on your palms first, then worry.

I've been guilty of fondling lizzy a couple of times. I suppose, at her age! She doesn't mind?

Better still I like the young lizzy effigy. I like to give them a really good rub :)

Do not feel guilty, there are those who admit to fondling, and the rest are liars. I keep a 1oz Maple leaf at my computer and on the odd occassion take out a 10oz Kookaburra. sometimes nice to handle the 100oz bar.

The more I fondle the less I am inclined to spend fiat on frivolous crap and save it for PM's

My current fondler is a lunar rabbit hummer. Feels pretty good in the hand, just wish it was a 1kg gold bar.

No silver is a healthy metal. It is use in many medical applications to cure disease and combat infections.Hippocrates, the "father of medicine", wrote that silver had beneficial healing and anti-disease properties.
During Fullmoon, Silver can also be used to destroy werewolves. During a finanical meltdown, silver is used to punish currency manipulators. So it is better to keep some with you in the pocket.

generally too much fondling causes blindness but don't worry about that, with all the new medical uses for silver i'm sure it will cure that one day too.

I have a 1 oz kooka that is my "fondling" coin... it sits on my iMac and looks great. I love the ring it makes when I flick it up in the air and the weight when it hits my hand again! Its the only one I have ever taken out of a capsule and I was amazed at how soft this metal is!!! - it has lots of scuff marks and yes it has some bite marks too - Just wanted to check to see if the old movies where the bite the coins were accurate - apparently so!
