This is the story of TED Please see the link http://forums.silverstackers.com/topic-39697-old-ted-from-perth.html
Original 5 oz Silver Perth Mint Bar- Complete Package Comes with Pouch & Card A member in the forum sold me this one; Thank you.
That "Ted" bar is my favorite. I can forsee it's colored history growing over time. I love quirky PMs with a good story behind them.
Under normal lighting Currently, I'm doing more investigations/ research. This are my finding, this pouch or bag is very special; made from special materials. Please read the next post
Under UV Lighting This Picture is taken under Ultra-Violet lighting; as you can see there are fluorescent materials embedded in the material. As highlighted by the arrows. The yellow stained is by some fluorescent ink spillaged.
I would like to buy TED for Silver Stacker or if you are the owner, here is my idea....I humbly want to take TED on a trip. I will send a photo of where TED is. Right now I want to bring him to Mt. Meharry. After a month I will forward him to another Silver STACKER and he can do his travel photo of TED. Let us see if how far this travel/photo log can go. Administrator should direct where TED is going to be sent next and has to monitor where he is all the time. And he must not leave Australia. So how much do you want for TED?
those UV textas were a great idea for security  Are you going to pass on Ted so he can continue his journey?
Lord Dudley, Thanks for yours interest in TED. Yes, I am the current owner. Firstly, TED is in His own collections, and will not be separate from the rest of his siblings ( other Perth Mint 5 oz, pouches and card ) For each additional siblings 5 oz added to Ted. So it is not as simple as that. I hope you understand. TED is in good cares. Yes Ted is unique 5 oz. better than the rest of the siblings. Now, where ever TED goes, he goes with the rest of his family. As a collector point of view, TED is no longer a toy that can be as simple as passing around. Thanks for the thought.
