Have been registered with Silver Stackers for over a year now and have been watching the trends of precious metals and not participated on the forum until now. Up until now we have been buying precious metals and not experienced in selling them! Any suggestions on the best way of doing the transactions so both parties feel secure with the deal? We are in far north Queensland and so it makes it more difficult to do face to face transactions. Looking forward to your advise on this matter.
No-one who's got good feedback's likely to rip you off. Besides as seller you would be on the safe side of the transaction - buyer deposits first. First time sellers might be different
Just saw your For Sale thread, decent amount you need to shift! Seeing as you're a first time seller, there's obvious trust issues. Unless you're willing to post first to someone with good feedback (I'd say 75+ trades) first and they deposit on receipt. Other than that or F2F with a fellow FNQ'er I'd recommend an escrow agency such as NAB (2.7%) http://www.nab.com.au/personal/investments/national-australia-trustees/corporate-trust-services and Escrow Angels (2.7%) https://www.escrowangel.com.au/how-does-escrow-angel-work-2/ And welcome
