Always be wary of someone who sells what they're offering advice about. I like him and what he has to say but after 2 years of listening to the same stuff over and over, he's lost a little credence in my book. Only time will tell if his and many others prognostications come to fruition.

His book is a good read and the video series is well worth watching

I'm new to this and have not listened to Mike Maloney or anyone for that matter. Have gotten most my information from forums, Is there any figure head in particular that is good to listen to or anyone that should be avoided. I tend to avoid anyone that talks about 10,000$ silver in a few years...but also the people that mension 7$ silver since I don't want that too happen!

Listen to those who have self-made fortunes and aren't trying to sell you anything. Avoid the rest.

    Long to medium term:

    Kyle Bass
    Jim Rogers
    Frank Guistra

    Shorter term:

    Dan Norcini

Exceptions to avoiding those trying to sell you something rule:

    Rob McEwen
    Jim Rickards
Rick Rule - even though he is now Sprott & Co.

Everyone will have a different list, but those I have listed have proven themselves over time.

Thanks I'll look into them. Yeah, most people saying that prices were going sky high were linked to some kind of bullion selling webiste, caught onto that real quick. I'm it it for the long haul so Kyle Bass, Jim Rodgers and Frank Guistra sound like a good place to start

    My advice:

You will spend a year trying to find someone that 'knows what's coming' and then realise there is no such person :)

Aren't we blessed this infinite wisdom and knowledge has time to hang around forums for loosers like us?

Fiat is too big to fail, although 20k/oz gold would be nice.
