    Hello fellow stackers!

I read yesterday that someone doesn't trust coins that have been tampered with ie cleaned. Does anyone else feel this way?

I was going to clean my 50c rounds but I'm not sure now. I know it doesn't increase their value but they look so much better when clean.

When the time comes will I have a harder time trying to get rid of them if I clean them?

    Thank you :)

Round 50's are fine to clean. Won't make a difference when selling them on at any time. Very few ads for them on here mention what state they're in and even less people question it.

Some like to clean them and some aren't bothered, totally upto you. I vote you clean them. It's almost therapeutic :D

cloudy ammonia for a day then silvo lightly all over. Making your 50s look like new bullion rounds. It has to be done!

Thanks everyone for their input. I think I'll clean them, I don't have many so at least what I do have will look nice :)

Did 100 this morn in less than 5 mins, from soaking bowl to tubes. Worth the 'effort' for a bunch of real shiny real money.
