Saw this on the PerthBullion site:

First time I've seen these. Are they a new brand of bar, or just something that's not usually seen in Australia?

B&C have been around for decades but relatively uncommon in Aus as it's a UK brand/refiner. A site sponsor and KJC were selling some of their stuff quite recently.

Probably just a buyback but quite a handsome bar, first kilo of theirs I've seen.

They're brand new bars being imported to Australia. Baird have a local distributor here, so expect to see these around more often.

Awesome bars - individually wrapped in plastic to protect, but you can't tell by handling them. Serial numbers and year of manufacture. No certificates to lose or get damaged.

Thanks, interesting. And I see GoldStackers have then now too for a great price for a kilo bar.

Yes, today was the official launch date - although they've been getting sold over the counter at dealers around the country for a week or two.

Baird and Co have been around since 1967 - well established in Europe. They also make the 100g gold bars for GoldMoney from memory.

What are the chances of seeing local dealers selling Baird and Co Rhodium bars?

Picked up one last week for same price as PM, looking at Baird and PM hand in hand, was an easy decision, will be grabbing a few more down the track.
