I guess I do average 1 ounce per week , and when I think of the money that does not get used for silver it's disproportionate , but such is my life of kids and marriage. The wife WELL once stated and I'll put a new twist , Spends $20 per week on cigarettes , another $40 on wine and sprits PER WEEK . That said . My little quest , My small attempt of wholesome desire . Actually gets more of talk from the in-laws then the drinking and cigs money spent to oblivion . They say stuff like " he has a secret stash " I'd swear ANIMOSITY . Any way my little quest should not bother any one it's a fine direction .
As a smoker I have to say that's nowhere near enough for a decent case of emphasemia(sp) although kudos to you for making a healthier choice1 Re the outlaws freaking out about your hoarding - excellent example of normalcy bias perhaps
True about the health , & I am not trying to insult any one about vices Plenty of filthy rich have it all and do what they want . Plenty of health crazed people die first . That part of life is written . To each his own .
Agreed it is a fine direction. Like you, I do a little bit here and a little bit there. Sometimes I buy blobs 'cos the price is good and sometimes I buy a nice shiney coin 'cos it looks good. It didn't take long for the kids to start calling me a 'crazy old man' but I am the one smiling.
