Ran across this browsing some of the Lunars. From the images alone it looks authentic for the most part. Compared it to the NGC certification lookup site. The one thing that threw me off was the grading label looked loose. The description even states it as such. If someone made a fake and slabbed it themselves, they went through a lot of trouble. Feedback for the seller looks good to go. What does everyone here think? http://www.ebay.com/itm/2008-2-oz-N...e-Mouse-Coin-Bullion-70-Perfect-/151261698399
its real! I recognize the name from the other forum. he is a well respected member. hell ive might of even done business with him before!
The member selling this coin is a stand up guy and a very respected member of Bullion Stacker. His word is as solid as it gets so if ya want it buy it with all the confidence in the world Mr Ed
Its good. I looked it up on the ngc website and its authentic. Only 2 known! So if you want a registry coin, this would be the key
Hi I am newbie for the graded Perth Mints Lunar. Is that a good demand of Perth Mints graded Bullion Lunar? I did collect omp silver lunar for 1 oz and 1 kg series 11. I only have the kg dragon as graded coin of my Perth mints Lunar collection.
I personally see 2 ounces of way overpriced silver, but each to their own. Its a sexy coin and all, but cmon, its 2 ounces of modern silver, not even a proof or any special sparklies!
Really? How often do you see the 2oz bullion mouse come up for sale? When you do see them for sale, how much do they sell for? Now, since there are a grand total of 2 that graded MS70, do you think there might be a few collectors that might want that coin for their set? To you, it may very well be "2 ounces of modern silver", but you're probably not the market the seller is trying to market. I'm guessing you're the exact market he's trying to avoid with this coin...
Silver stacker or coin collector or somewhere in between? I personally paid big premium for lunars but this is definitely out of my league
A person would want that coin for a registry set. That coin is probably the key the lunar registry set all together....
Such a good deal eh Thats why it was listed on eBay, is still currently on eBay and the sellers now doing an absurd discount. And go troll elsewhere.
Who's trolling? Quite frankly, the seller is not trying to sell that as 2 ounces of modern bullion. He is trying to sell it as a collectible. The difference is massive.
I has been my personal experience the one will never convince a person who equates all metal as equal that it is not just 2 ounces of bullion. Many people believe selling these types of items is the work of a ripoff artist. Sometimes they message me to that end. For those that feel that way I say just don't buy it, it is not for you. One's belief system is a very strong thing. It can hinder you or it can allow from tremendous growth. I owe the majority of my stack to the fact that I realized there is a market for graded coins and I sell them for FRN profits that can be rolled into increasing my holdings. I have sold 10 similar coins to the one in question just this week alone. In my experience I have found it is not useful to argue with the market....but it is rather useful to figure our how to prosper in it. Someone will buy that mouse. It may not be today, this week or even this month but they will buy it. When they do buy it they will love it and it will be their prized possession. Who am I to judge another's motivations or whether it is worth it or not. I leave responsibility for that to them (the customer). For the record I can state unquestionably it is real. It was originally purchased from APMEX many years ago. At the time of the purchase it was and still remains 2 ounces of extremely overpriced bullion. Now I wish I had bought the other one also.
I don't sell internationally on eBay for a number of reasons. However, if someone were truly interested possibly we can work something out. I don't want to hijack someone else's thread though which is why I have not commented on the thread previously.
