Hi all I was hoping some clever stackers out there may be able to help me. There is a gold curb chain with the below specs, can someone please workout the gold value in this chain to give me an idea if the asking price us fair or way over priced. I know the quality and craftsman ship is a value by itself and not just the gold value in the chain but the gold value amount in this chain will give me a starting point to work out its real value or wholesale value. Thanks! Specs: 18kt solid yellow gold Curb chain with lobster clasp 3.5mm wide 55cm long 21.48grams weight The gold value/amount from this chain would help me a lot! Thanks guys Can post here or pm me
Challenge accepted. 18kt is 75% gold so 16.11grams of gold. At $1,388.44 per TrOz and divided by 31.10 is $44.64/gram. So $719.15..?
Thanks House That's awesome, your awesome Just what I was trying to figure out!! Thanks for your help guys
Only problem calculating at spot is very hard to buy on a regular basis If it falls in your lap "Go For It" I do markets and I need gold and silver in my stockpile I would be singing in the rain if I could find good second hand items at spot By the way I see something I think I can make money on I will pay up to 20 % to 25% over And sell at a profit
