when i buy silver coins from the sponser business.

eg. a roll of 20 coins

should the coin have finger prints on it ?

    2nd question

when I get a roll of solmaian elephants, the bottom coin in the roll doesn't look silver, looks a bit off colour with the rest of the coin, is it normal ?

    thanks

Depends. What coins were they? Ones like lunars are encapsulated at the Mint so if they're from a dealer they definitely shouldnt have fingerprints on them.

Somalian elephants are a relatively recent release so don't think they should have started toning so soon. Can you post some pics?

Spelling so attroshus it almost seems deliberate.

Interesting leading question for a first post that I shall elect to not attempt to answer.

i got a 2013 somalia elephant, and its showing toning. its quite a pretty red, and i prefer it to the antique finish crap thats being put out by mints.

it was part of a bulk buy anyway... and i do have a neat 2013, perfect condition and it just doesn't seem as real.

Some low premium bullion coins/rounds are handled while being encapsulated, easy enough to wipe off

I have only brought one tube, but I had a similar experience with the Somalia elephants.

Don't worry. Give it a year or so and your Elephants will be covered in milk spots aswell to go with the toning.

Can confirm my entire tube of 2011 elephants has either milked OE toned.... Got one near the bottom of the tube full crimson toned...

    Its a beaut

I'd buy cheap silver andin 5oz or greater to avoid this type of be that can likely ruin what was a good investment idea.. Would steer clear of all high premium coins and most low premium rounds

Low premium and expect milk spots and toning and you'll be right mate
