You are right dear Projack, but i am just an amateur collector and try to take the photos with an Olympus pocket camera that costed me 250 eyros 3 years ago..

I cant compete to the quality of the photos of Drakesterling that is a reputable profecional coin dealer and has propably a photografer to shoot his coins.

My photos are natural taken at daylight. Anyway i ve tried to take a couple more shots from the coin and maybe now it will be easier to see the details of it .

You can try to use scanner instead of camera
I only can give my best guessing this way. Around MS62-63

The cross on the Orb is clear i say MS63-64. The reverse is always better on the Shields

I presume about $2.000 AUD will be a realistic price .... McDonald's catalogue gives $3.500 at Choise Unc !!

Congrats Antonis, am enjoying the pics as I have seen a rather tasty 1844 half Sov at one of my local merchants at a reasonable price/premium, am awaiting some decent pics from the merchant before I buy though am certain its nowhere near the quality of the coin you have there.

Funny thing is in the UK the only offers this merchant gets for such coins is scrap values!! Some goit offered him a measly 20 for the 1844 half sov, talk about bare faced cheek though Vicky does seem to be showing her best cheek on your coin ha ha!! :p :p
