Fantastic Bumble coin silver coin with venetian glass

Iwas able to purchase a fantastic 1 oz $ 20 silver coin from Canada of wih a small bumble bee on it of Venetian Murano glass only 10.000 made; i had to pay $150 for it goes over $250 now and i betting it will go much higher.

the first coin a 2011 Ladybug on a Tulip goes around a $1000; a great investment i think.. (pitty i don't have the first one too :/:/:/)

My style is different, but it's interesting how inventive these colored coin makers are... they're going 3D now.

I was watching the Perth Mint colorful Year of the Dragon 10 coin set. What bothers me is that they're selling them so much above spot price...

Justfishin. Is the frog coin a continuation of the same series as the bugs or is it the beginning of a new series?
I assume the mintage will be 10,000?

Yes 10,000 as far as I know. Continuation of the Venetian glass series, will be a hot one

 

The release date for the 4th coin in the Venetian Glass series is April 1st and will feature a Water Lily pad printed in full colour, together with a Leopard Frog fashioned from Venetian/Murano glass.

As we're an official distributor of the Royal Canadian Mint we're unable to publish photos of the coin until after it's advertising embargo date of April 1st, but if no one else does so in the meantime I can post a photo then

I think this is the start of a new series. If you assume that all Venetian glass coins are one series, than this would be the 5th coin in the Venetian glass series.

This is considered the 4th coin in the series, not a new series.

 

It was supposed to be glass insects, now they have changed it to a frog? I guess we will have to wait and see if RCM introduces this as the start of a new series or the continuation of the old series.

 

Christmas coin isn't part of the series.
