I've got the picture in my mailbox.
As friend of mine said - it is the coin that will be issued on behalf of some African state. 1st coin in series. Mintage limited to 5k. No other info so far.

    Elephant fans, Your thoughts?

Elephants are awesome! This coin's design is terribly ugly. The mintage is not so low unless it's priced as a bullion coin rather than a collector coin. Give me a coin with a mintage of around 2K or below and then you will impress me. If it is going to be priced with a premium above about 8 - 10 dollars/oz, then the 5K mintage is not impressive to me.

only time will tell how this coin behaves
nobody wanted early rwanda wild life ... but now they are high priced ... this coin is not that bad - better than rwanda's for sure
2nd coin in series will determine if it is good investment or not.

so I'm going to bet couple of $$ on it. I think that at issue price can be around $40-50 and it will fly pretty fast ... elephants are in trend nowadays ))

I personally like the coin. It looks far superior to a lot of the issues that have been coming out lately. Kind of unique in my opinion. 5,000 mintage is pretty limited and it is the first in a series which is usually a good one to own as well.

I like it and with only 5,000 it'll be a quick sell out for sure.

The coin will be introduced on World Money Fair in Berlin next week ... so, let's see how real coin looks.
    Minted by some German mint.
