Great job House, this is way better than what I had in mind. I definatley vote for it to be a sticky and for it to be automaticly PM'd to every new member. (if such a thing can be done.) It's a great idea and may save some of the new members getting the embarrasing resonse of 'do some resarch' or this has been asked befor. A 'welcome to the fourm' PM with some of these threads for background reading would be so much more inviting. Then new members could join in feeling they are a little more educated.
Glad so many appreciate it. All done poolside with an iPad Started in alphabetical order but thought grouping some related topics together would be better. Some generic message sent to new members with helpful links etc would be more helpful. I've been on the forum for a few years now and even though the same questions are incessantly asked, they're always answered as if it's the first time they've been posted. Would be nice to have that kind of response here seeing as newbies can't figure out how to use he search function. Or Google. Also, joined another site a while ago and the below message stayed on top of every page visited and did so for the next 45 days. Capitalized words were emboldened. Maybe doing something like this here would help the newbies, allay current members suspicions and save everyone a whole load of time...

What do you have against Pamdas? There was recently a question about Gold Silver Ratio swaps which might be worth adding, some of the newcomers might never hear of the concept as it only comes up every now and then. Same goes for Dollar Cost Averaging.
Nothing against pamda's, what makes you think that? There's 2 links relating to the GSR so thought that was sufficient. Not sure which new one you're talking about though, got the link? Fields- was hoping it would be a sticky as most of the topics are frequently asked or of interest to new stackers. GP has seen it so up to him. Might need to do a bit of formatting on it first or something
Well you keep calling them Pamdas for one, makes it hard to search for info on Pandas! Anyway, the GSR is interesting but I was thinking more along the lines of the nuts and bolts of how to go about the swaps, something like Thucy's advice here http://forums.silverstackers.com/topic-11812-silver-and-gold-swaps.html Also comes into the section on allocated and unallocated so the info is there but it is spread out all over the place. Maybe when GP has a few spare minutes he can read over the whole forum and bring it all together
