If the package looks dodgy why would they accept it? If they accept a package that's been tampered with then the loss should be on them
The only irrefutable fact is the bullion went missing after I posted it. This means it could have disappeared at any number of points along the way. So to name anyone would be highly improper.
Yes, not on this forum. If I have any doubts about the person Im sending to I take photos of me packing and posting item. Weigh and take pic of package before going to PO and again when on PO scales. Also sticky tape and sign outside of article to prevent tampering. I did this with the item that the buyer claimed turned up short...it was overseas via ebay which is why I did extra precautions. Told them I had pics including my local Post Office person taking sealed package over the counter and that to accuse me of fraud would include my local Post Office franchisee. They replied that they rechecked and that all goods were there and left me nice feedback. Let your spidey senses guide you.
yes, one roll of coins went missing, and I got few lipsticks back as their replacement to make up for the weight. shipment from US, most likely someone along the way open the pack and taped it back... the way packing items were amateur, meaning, it was not properly packed so that, was easy to rip it apart. yes, that was from UK, some one put a standard letter back into the package. it was open and re-packed, but nothing was missing.... Big brother has his finger prints all over!
no but heard it happens on feebay(this is the way buyer try to reclaim the money from paypal and keep the goods in the same time)
