Hello my fellow stackers, i have been working out what i would like to achieve in 2014 when it comes to silver. Of course it all depends on prices etc, if it can reach them. My goal is to hit 1000 oz by year end. Im currently at 200oz, so i will have to really go some to reach my target. But its doable with hard work. What are your goals?
To have the bank employee dislocate their shoulder upon pulling my safe deposit box out of the wall vault
At this moment in time I'd take just breaking even in 2014, i only started staking this year and 2013 has not been kind to me,
More money, more silver or both ? My hope is that silver is worth more money than it is now. Like many members no doubt, I entered the "game" at about $30 to $33 Steadily baled out along the way. But good health and good family are the real go I think.
And my silver goal for 2014 is to see my shilling pendants on 0.02% of Australians silver chains. Shillings are forever!!
I could do with some more bars, plus this year I am going to finish the wooden treasure chest I have been making, when I started out it would have held all my silver plus some space for extras, however it has taken so long and silver has been so cheap I think it migh have trouble fitting it all in. Might have to start work on a second chest. My goal is to move my money out of the bank and into something tangible, so far I have achieved this, unfortunately the tangible items have gone down in value and I still don't have a box to keep them in.
My 2013 goal of improving my silver/gold ratio went pear shape due to the bargain silver price. I've reached my oz stacking goal, so for 2014 BUY more silver, but mainly bullion priced coins/rounds with semi-numi potential. Stop buying blobs and bars.
my goals are to 1. keep myself employed, 2. pay down the mortgage with the anticipated rates drop, 3. buy those half sovs and 20 francs that i have my eye on early next year and 4. keep stacking more silver. It won't be hard to buy more in 2014 than i bought in 2013 that is for sure.
To get closer to my hedge end game, I have made minor progress this year, but due to huge bills I have not made nearly as much progress as I would like
started way back in 2003, when gold was about $400/oz and silver $8/oz. But only bought a few oz of each then. for years I laughed about my silver purchase, my service charges at the bank were almost as much as the silver price I paid. now I regret I did not buy more in 2003. started again after the crash in 2008, bought all the way up to $44/oz. in 2013, I kept buying to bring my break even at now $30/oz. my goal is to be patient in 2014, need to remember how weird it felt between 2003 and 2006, and wait for a surge. I have a comfortable stack of about 15% of my net worth in physical, and now I keep working, pay down my debts, and enjoy life. I'll sell some of my stack if I'm forced to, emergency only. My goal is to see above $30+ one day in 2014. David Morgan thinks this will happen in 2014, crossing my fingers.
