Obverse and reverse have been redesigned for security and I reckon they'e done a nice job. http://agaunews.com/?p=7530 Source: AgAuNEWS No doubt the subject of milk-spots will now consume the thread...
Of course. It doest matter much how nice they look when they get all the milkspots, then they will look like crap anyway. I never bye anything from RCM because of that.
I wonder if the price will go up because of the additional costs to manufacture them. I might just get a couple even though I am not much of a fan. The Queen's Head still looks odd, maybe I am just used to seeing the one on the Australian and UK money. The Maple Leaf side looks decent enough though.
Wow. Should be tough to fake a maple now. First milkspots and now the security feature ! RCM have really outdid themselves this time around. But honestly, I'll get a tube of these for sure.
Oh wow, didn't know about the "fingerprint" radial designs. This coin should be the one to watch.
Just Wow! I think this is unfakable. Light years ahead of Chinese fakers. I'll buy a tube, when I have spare monies that is, he-he.
I like innovative technology on coins. I am not a fan of maple leaf coins but I could buy a coin made this way
Not sure why anyone would ever choose a bog-standard Maple to fake. Bullion Maples are little more exciting than blanks. Added security features are always a good thing however but will it add a premium ? Time will tell if the dreaded milk spots and stains are a thing of the past with RCM silver.
