I bought back into litecoin - payed $23.50 (sold at $36.7)
Set buy for NMC at $5.1 (sold at $8.80)
Have $ sitting in coinjar - waiting for $550

Not quite selling at the tops but good enough for me.

Ill be a buyer at $50, see you there. $50 is the average purchase price all bitcoins in existence and I expect it will go lower than this.

Did I miss the part where we just decided to make up random figures to get another post in?

Theres still 980,000 untouched from 2009 that cost basically nothing, think that skews your figures a bit.

But hey, at least you understand 1 BTC is definately worth more than 1oz of silver!

    Peeeewwwwwww!
Lost $45 in the space of 5 minutes on BTC-E.
If it gets to $500 and shows no signs of stopping, then I am going to continue waiting.
$50 would be very very nice.

It is what it is.....someone still holds them. It might be squewed from what you have in your mind. But the velocity of people entering the market has collapsed and the price has hit another planets moon. Only one way from here

Just waiting for the holders to start talking about 'it's not really a loss unless you sell' and wrcmad to come in with 'loss is a loss' arguments.

    Exactly it.
With China taking the PBC and Baidu one-two punch, a bunch of techno-geeks in the US and UK were never going to keep the prices propped over $1000. This is more than gravity, this is a vacuum.
Interesting to see the "China Effect" probably added $900 to the price in the past few weeks - bloated beyond all reasonable measures just like Sydney's real estate.

Yeah, well, the thing is that silver conditioned us for getting an arse-kicking on the markets, so when the writing was on the wall for the BTC rocket ship on Thursday, I cashed out ahead.
Now it's almost a pleasure to see the thing drop, unlike silver where every drop is still a kick in the arse.

And when it hits $50 I'm only buying a couple as well. I think she's going way lower than $50

Be interesting if it goes that low if another currency takes its place on the way back up. Bitcoin might be the MySpace of cryptos.

Betting there's a tonne of money being poured into exchanges right now as people panic to try and buy in cheap - I'm expecting a rebound Monday/Tuesday as the funds start to clear, but it would have to be a cracker to regain $1000+

You do understand that I think its going down too right? I even said a few days ago $500 - $700 within a week and look where we are.

I've long since sold, just trading bumps back to USD on the way down.

You think it's going to $500. Might be a bounce soon but that's only half way me thinks

Fascinating question is what proportion of all the bitcoin traders are chartists.
Will the chartists still be looking to buy in if the trend has now changed ?
What happens if they are all chartists ?

$500 - $700 within a week, where did I say that would be the bottom?

The $500 buy is for another bounce trade.

    Wow... :/

So what price do you put on the bottom then?
