Really starting to make the move south now.. IF we've just witnessed a double top, I'm surprised at the long period people had to get their money out. Sunday tomorrow..... Craaaaazeeeee
Ya, traders are taking full advantage of the weekend. Bitcoin is a 24/7/365 deal. The volatility is surely not a good thing overall for Bitcoin. Bitcoin is still young in the scheme of things It will be interesting to see if there is some compensation for this in the months and years to come as larger amounts of people become weary to it.
I'm still on the sideline. Those holding through Sunday after 2 days of big falls already.... bonkers. Possibility of..... Black Sunday?
Just a question. This Quarkcoin which is roughly about .09 cents USD ATM http://coinmarketcap.com/ Checked out fleebay and couldn't believe the inflated prices. Ex: 10 for $5 any Wallet and others 1000 for $325. Why would they be selling 300% to 500% above the Spotprice? Is it because its a hassle having to sign-up with some of the exchanges, or have I done the calculations wrong? Am interested to know.
In other news, the market didn't like China's announcement it seems! I have parked quite a bit in cash at this stage.
My guess was purposely bullish. I want to see BTC climb to higher more stabilised prices. Whether this is achievable or not is another story. It is a proverbial 'blood bath' at the moment and the weekend is still young!. What an action packed adventure BTC continues to provide. The wild west of currencies. Not for the faint of heart.
For reals LoB. I just hold mine and watch the games. This is short term volatility in a much broader picture, I feel. Exciting.
This volatility is a pure gift to anyone trading the swings, if only to accumulate more of the digital nonsense...
Probably because... (That's BITCOIN value - double LTC volume... and I for one am still smarting for not taking a cheap punt on AAPL in 1995...)
After a while, the word will get out to mainly trade into BTCs on the weekends. Lots of dynamics to this. Time will roll on. People don't realise these still are the early days.
Please...please use some decent data. http://www.cryptocoincharts.info/#jump-qrk-btc 24 hour volume is 845 BTC right now for QRK. http://www.cryptocoincharts.info/#jump-ltc-btc LTC combined is over 16,000 BTC
That volume chart was from only one exchange - Cryptsy - just an example of how QRK is attracting huge BTC trade daily there compared to LTC?
Double top(?) complete with circa 600,000 BTC ($450,000,000,000) currently underwater and looking for a way out. Doesn't bode well for the short-term.
Another day in wild the life of BTC. Source: http://www.businessweek.com/news/20...pting-bitcoins-after-china-ban-causing-drop-1
