I had a fake of this that looked identical in every way - for those type of coin its defo worthwhile getting it slabbed and graded as youd assume its a fake considering the quality and scarcity and % of fakes vs real!

    great coin with incredible history.

The diagnostics are exactly the same? Every marking looks identical? Then that would almost certainly mean that CMCART's slabbed coin is a fake struck from the same bad die as the fake you had, correct? It would likely also mean that the slab is fake also. The odds of a coin from the exact same year and mint mark having the same exact diagnostics (markings) is virtually impossible I would think.

CMCART, do you know the history of this coin? Did you buy it slabbed already?
