I'm going to the U.S in a week and I've watched the dollar go from over 97 to under 92 in the last month. Somebody tell me what it is dropping so hard when the U.S is printing like crazy?
Hope it continues .50 would be nice . Seems JPY is collapsing against the EUR and USD, could be a Bug just found a windscreen and there is a flight to safety (LOL)
"Australia rejects raising debt ceiling, hopes to avoid America-style shutdown" http://rt.com/business/australia-senate-rejects-debt-718/ This makes highly leveraged AUDUSD carry traders wary of the AUD, even being the prettiest horse in the slaughterhouse (by having the highest interest rate in a Western OECD economy) isn't enough.
Its always a gamble, best thin to do is change when you're comfortable, when I went over to the us I changed about 3 months prior @107c I thought it could keep going but didn't want to be greedy
They can just "fix" inflation nowadays by just changing the calculation methodology. So much easier. Leaves much more time for their mutual self admiration meetings!
