Temporally suspended ???. I hear roumors it will be after January.maybe ?
What does that mean ? It would be good for the PM to be a bit more transparent with their customers.
The coin is already 3 months overdue. This is not a coin in isolation and forms part of a set produced each year. It would be good for Ron or Bron to make some sort of statement as regards the 5oz ?

They're a low demand size - 2oz and 5oz were suspended for both the Dragon and Snake from memory too, because there's a heap of 1oz coins demanded struck for Kooks, Lunar and Koala, so the lowly 2oz/5oz get bumped from production for a while.

I will be chasing the mint for more info this week on an availability date. 2oz is back in production after a short suspension.

Last I saw there were 2oz coins in the mint.. No 5oz though.. Seems like more focus on the Koalas and Kookas.. Maybe year end with tourists more familiar with the iconic aussie bear? Haha..

Hi GP any follow up on the 5oz? We are all interested in what the mint has to say.
    Thanks for your efforts

    January at the earliest.

10oz silver coins have just been suspended from production this week as well - apparently there's huge demand for kilo silver coins right now so that's the production focus.

I may organise a group buy, if anyone is interested, in the new year. (reiterate may!)

If this goes ahead should be able to arrange to receive Perth Mint best volume discount. ie for example earlier group buy of 1 oz horses were $30.60 ish each

There's no silver shortage in the retail end of the market.
