My small effort to help reducing country's unemployment and to promote its (natural) wonders. The biggest plus is that city (Bled) is very small and you can do bunch of things there. Our jokes about people there (in the region) reminds a lot on jokes about Scottish people I read in "JOTD" topic. So I guess all Scots will feel like at home.
It looks very nice. How much is property over there? ie small acreage with a house close to transport etc.
Have no idea. Will check out. I believe it shouldn't be so expensive for someone from Australia. If anyone is interested I can send him/her more nice videos and pictures. Maybe will post them here. The biggest plus of our country (for tourists at least) is that is very small. So you can visit it all in few days. This year someone (I think he get married on that day, or had birthday) climbed to highest mountain and dive down to deepest point. We have small "portion" of everything, from sea to mountains, except deserts. I'm not working in tourism, but I think our government could do much more to helping it....
Hello! I'm really sorry for my late reply. I have just too many things on my agenda currently. I've found one page, which is even translated into English (click the flag on top of the page): http://www.realestate-slovenia.info/nepremicnine.html?q=bled I believe prices there are among highest in our country, besides capital city. Unless you really want to live near lake it's probably better to buy house or flat in on of the nearer towns, like in a city Kranj or suburbs of capital city Ljubljana. I need about one hour of drive on highway to come to lake or sea. If you need any additional help or info you can PM me. BR
