I've heard of the Perth mint series of coins, but the Royal mint looks to be getting in on the act now: http://www.bullionbypost.co.uk/silver-coins/year-horse/2014-royal-mint-1oz-year-horse-silver-coin/ Those prices are about the same as standard Britannias, I can't see any reason not to pick up a tube or two. Anyone else looked at these?
I was quoted GBP30 per piece, with moq 20 coins (1 tube) straight from Royal Mint. Price excludes delivery. They won't be cheap unless someone pools an order exceeding 500oz...
Is there any mintage limit for this coin? thanks Edit, too bad, just found out the bullion version can only be shipped within U.K. and they also jacked up 20% in price for proof version.
I wouldn't buy anything direct from the Royal mint, they're horrendously expensive. Unfortunately, BullionByPost is the only other place I've seen them and they're UK only.
