Says the person who just spent $700 on 1oz of silver. Yep, I think I'm happy making money in BTC instead of losing it in Silver.
781$ Haven't paid it yet. I mean probably there will be someday correction and prices will fall. I will maybe buy some BC in the near future. I more support the idea of BC, than would like to spend money on it. As far as digital services and "things" are ok, I'm still much bigger fan of holding something in hand. I can't imagine feeling much about some digital things... So would take (rare) coin that I like over BC any day.
Hehehe. I "support" BitCoin because of its idea of "no-central-bank-inside" thing. And that thing is limited (to 21 million), if I'm not wrong. As opposite to current computer/video game style of cheating - e.g. printing money. But my funds are limited and when I see rare, nice coin... I just feel a little uncomfortable too be honest because of current BC prices. Who knows, maybe in few years I will be sorry of not spending few hundred bucks. Have bought one "BC coins" made by MSRP ("new" Liberty Dollar) and it's nice.
Trying to trade in LTC/USD and LTC/BTC... But there's bugger all movement. Definitely a slow down at this point in time.
Do I need to setup the client to just have an account to hold ltc? or is that a separate program? considering taking a gamble on ltc
LTC has it's own wallet, hard to find a place to buy them, I just got my through www.btc-e.com by swapping for BTC. And now I just got my LTC out of BTC-e today, finally finished my 3 day cooling off period with BTC-e so now I can flaunt my LTC around, yeah!
So are there any easy to enter reliable mining services? IE: Invest $100 via a website and they use their hardware to mine for you?
Yup, I'm still buying more Bitcoins...wacking a reasonable amount of fiat into it. I see these as early days for Bitcoin....still!. I have some LTC & NMC too. My focus is BTC.
I haven't looked into LTC in a while but I remember reading the main benefit was faster confirmation of transactions? This is the main benefit of LTC over BTC right?
Yup, faster transactions plus it has a longer term mining outlook and there will be ten times more LTC when mining ceases. (DON'T QUOTE ME/COULD BE WRONG.....IT'S BEEN AGES SINCE I LOOKED AT THE DATA). People have to realise that Bitcoin has the reputation and has a growing number of commercial enterprises wanting a slice of the action. Bitcoin is cryptocurrency gold, making LTC crypto silver....
