http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/History-...ry-925Silver-13-Charms-Bracelet-/281179254564 How it can be possible, to sell 13 .925 silver Charms-Bracelet for less than $4 delivered?:/
So many things about the listing rings alarm bells. For $4 though there's a cheap xmas present in it for someone you don't like when its found to be a fake.
I just bought one for shits and giggles. I'll digest it in some nitric then cement with copper. Will report back with actual silver content.
I bought some necklaces just to see. They are marked 925 on a small disc but not even sure if they're silverplated. I don't know why the sellers have such good feedback though. Guess nobody really expects silver for $4 one feedback says it all - Item was NOT silver when tested. DO NOT BUY SILVER FROM HERE
got mine today. it's not magnetic and when you hit it with a file the outer layer flacks off. inside is kinda yellowish
I bought a "solid silver" bracelet for $1 + $3 post on ebay once it was marked .925 and said in the listing solid silver. I bought it and once I got it I went at it with the hack saw and** shocked ** to discover my $4 bracelet was plated
Maybe you could send one to gold stackers and they might be kind enough to XRF it. Then you would know for sure
