I don't think the dragon did well either.

Have seen some selling for close to release price on eBay.

Did well ? Just today an HR Dragon sold for $67 on feebay (271308834785) !

This coin along with other pieces of junk like the multiple colored versions and the privies contributed to the lack of interest of the lunar series that we are noticing nowadays

Yeah they are really going to have to think outside of the box to rescue the Lunar series IMO. Still think the bullion is nice but they have really over-done it on the proof etc. Obviously they thought they could make some decent cash out of it but I think they may be witnessing a shift in consumer opinion. It will be interesting to see what happens.

As a HR coin, I think its a decent design.. with regards to numi value, it might not grow much.. but personally I really like the HR finish so I might get one just to add to my stack.. haha..

So true! I went online and saw all the variations, colors, shapes, and sizes. Yikes! And they haven't come out with the 50,000 privy yet. Wayyyyyy too much. Hopefully they wake up, but greed is malicious animal. I don't see them changing their ways, but I'm going to change mine. :)

Agreed that PM Lunar Series got killed by their own greed. As a collector, I still like the HR series so I will buy, but not at launch price.
