We have a great final meet scheduled this month 1) SA Gold Digger will be bringing along his XRF machine, so if you would like some precious metals tested bring them along 2) Anonmiss is our local geologist(not certified, buts very knowledgable) so if you would like your jewellery or gems inspected bring them along 3) Mystery Auction (Pinkmanwhite is bringing some goodies along...that will be revealed on the night). Not even I will know what's being auctioned, so if you could bring along your own schedule of items that would be appreciate. That is right argento. Pinkman White brings you a mystery auction filled with silver. On my most recent visit to the vault, I found all sorts of strange bars and coins which ALL will be auctioned off. There were some coins with buffaloes on it, sunshine mint bars and eagles, palm trees, skull & cross bones... who knows what they are! No information to what the products are will be revealed until the auction itself. All I can tell you is the products are 99.9% silver (to be XRF verified on the night). The majority of the items are in capsules. This stock has not been moved since late 2008, so it remains a mystery to what the products are!
Just had a re-read of my opening post and realized that its not geology that has been emptying my bank account......its anonmiss's passion for gemology ......So it should have read Anonmiss is our local gemologist Also some of you may not be aware that Alex is tying the knot very soon , I believe this may be his last meet as a free man. I volunteer Gold Digger to organize the entertainment....hand cuffs, ball and chain ...Danman leaping out of cake....just a few ideas

For those that haven't replied, I will be finalizing seating arrangements with the venue on Saturday so if you could be kind enough to either send me a pm or post on this thread that would be greatly appreciated. Looking forward to catching up with you all this Sunday. I will be there plus 1 friend. I will have a full set of Maple leafs (all nice and shiny and spot free) up for sale including - - All 26 years individual maple leafs (1988 to 2013) - 1999/2000 millennium privy maple leaf - 2008,2009,2010 Vancouver Winter Olympics special maple leafs. Total set is 30 oz and will only be selling as one set. To get full set these days is hard work, especially the lower mintage maple leafs such as 1997,1996 and 1995 And 1992 which carry high premiums. Only place I know you can get the majority (not all) of these is Apmex, so my pricing will be set at Apmex prices converted to AUD less an overall discount. Out if the 30 coins, 8 have a mintage of less than 500,000 and the lowest mintages are the 2010 winter olympic coin at around 79,278 and the 1997 maple leaf at 100,970. I will bring along one set however if more people are interested please PM me before the meet and I can bring along another set. See everyone there. Cheers, andsing56
Oh, and if anyone has some spare 38mm capsules (for maple leafs and canadian wildlife coins) please bring them along, I need 30 or so. Thanks, andsing56
