Received some Geiger minted bars today, I have got to say I am really impressed. They don't seem to be spoken about much on the boards and I think I have only seen them sold once before on the for sale forum.

I got larger bars and am waiting on some 1 oz bars, can't wait to get them. Geiger don't seem to be that common from what I have seen, have they been available here in Aus for long?

I love my geiger kilo bars, was thinking about getting some of the 10oz's also, tossing up between them and scottsdale stackers.

I have a lot of other types of bars, got the Geigers and wish I had come across the Geigers a long time ago. I am trying to figure why I had never come across them before? They just do not seem to be popular, is there a reason for that?

The 10 oz minted are very nice, have 10 oz cast ones on the way as well. It will be interesting to see what they look like.

Also have a couple of 5 kg minted bars on the way, I am thinking they should be impressive.

Nice bars indeed, good qulaity. Seen a fair few sold here but PM and PAMP will always be the favorites for bars, even though the premium is only a couple dollars more.

Definitley getting more popular since Bullion List started pricing them competitively more than a year ago.

Just curious. How do these bars fare with milkspots ?

Have heard some stories that they develop milkspots after awhile. Some stackers had to note this while selling their bars in this forum.

The ones available at bullionlist come in a very thin plastic shrink wrap which is very easy to pierce with a finger nail, also included is a sticker with a serial number on the back of each bar..

I took one out of the plastic to look at it but am leaving the rest in the plastic, why would you want to take them out of the plastic?

I don't want to take them out. i never want them to come out. I want them in industrial strength plastic lol.. i want them in a hard case like the ones in the pic up there. It's the only reason I can see me buying these 10oz bars over the perth mint ones

Only the 100 g geigers come in the hard plastic. The rest of the sizes come in the thin plastic.

    Hi guys,

Bullion List is the Australian distributor for Geiger Edelmetalle bars. We have them listed on our website here: https://bullionlist.com.au/silver/geiger (Some sizes are on special at the moment too).

The 1oz minted bars come in laminated (hard plastic) sheets of 20. The 100g cast and Security Line bars also come in laminated sheets of 20.

The 250g, 10oz, 500g, 1000g and 5000g bars, both cast and Security Line versions come individually shrink wrapped. It can be removed pretty easily if you want to, but most people leave it on to prevent tarnishing and scratches.

The new 10oz bars have been incredibly popular and we had a great response to them at the Melbourne ANDA show last weekend. If they're not making their way onto the secondary market we can only assume people like them and are holding them tightly, but there are literally tonnes of them out there now.

    Cheers,

    Joey

Does Security Line mean it has a security feature?
