I started my selling at $200 USD / $210 AUD. I can see 2000 CNY as possible, so about $320 USD at this rate - but who knows. I have every intention of rebuying with all the sale proceeds once the price stabilises again (+/- 10% weekly range).
Still managed to find some tonight at $189/$193 AUD - basically planning to flip them within a day or two, and keep the profits as BTC. Bugger mining, flip them.
$196 @ Coinjar means I'll probably end up selling some more. Will use that fund to rebuy if price drops significantly.
Are you suggesting you see this move getting significant further traction? Daily - China: Daily - USD:
I am thinking we'll get another spike like last time as things have been heating up on the last week or so - but really keen to hear others' thoughts!
I think by now everyone agrees China is leading the price (I mean look overnight, price didn't move). I'm not sure the Chinese will spike the price like last time, slow steady buying is their training no? It's like Monopoly for them, you have to own it all! I'm trying not to look at D1/D3 etc because it gets me too excited, and I might make poor decisions haha.
Just tried to sell some on there - "1 BTC exceeded global maximum, please try again later". Not very liquid :/ Basically implies they've hit an exchange trading limit for the day. Anyone want to buy some at their price with EFT?
Can someone help a noob like me understand what a "Chinese Bitcoin" is? I thought Bitcoin was a global currency. Also, if anyone would be willing to sell me 1BTC I'd like to get one, as currently I have zero. Not sure if its smart to get in during a price ramp-up or wait for the next correction. On a side not but somewhat related, I've started tinkering with a demo Forex account. I'm pretty good at pattern recognition in general, but I have to say, Forex moves against my predictions almost 100% of the time. I'd very much like to learn how to do it properly, as I have significant assets (finally) after a property settlement and would like to do some smart investing with some of it. PM me if you have any tips. Oh, I also have another question. It seems when I install a wallet program, it creates a brand new wallet for me automatically. So I have one, but I also installed a wallet app on my Android phone, and it did the same thing. I can't seem to find an option to tell my phone to use the same wallet as my pc is using. Still extremely new at this so I'm not really understanding if that's normal or not. Oh hey Gold finally moved a bit today. yay. I REALLY need gold to move up in a significant way soon!!! Got lots of gold I absolutely need to sell.
Absolutely every choice I make is for a deliberate reason. Its just how I roll. If I should not do Forex, like you say, please give me a rational logical reason as to why. Thx. Also lets not hijack this thread. If there's a link for another discussion on that topic that we should be using let me know.
blockchain.info is a simple way to access the same BTC on your Android and web-based. Set up an online wallet first, then sync your phone with it.
They probably shut it down manually for whatever reason. One of the founders is a dodgy dodgy person, I use their service but I get in and out as quick as possible. You never know what games they might play.
btcmarkets.net is another local exchange I am trialling - no problems getting funds in using POLI (which is an endorsement that they have been given a POLI integration approval), however BTC withdrawals can take a few hours as they appear to be manually processed. Hoovered some up on there yesterday $10-20 under MtGox rates.
