Hmm. think I'll just get a 5oz 2013 panda for the price of 2 of those medals.

Been wanting to get a 5 oz panda. And I think the 2013 design is nice.

Probably not a bad idea. I'm taking a chance on these with a 1000 mintage. I know they are quite a different, but I have a 1985 ANA Great Wall coin (an error), and I've done okay on that one. That has a mintage of 500.

So it's for a small coin show that has already passed.

Hope nobody gets burnt too much later!

Guess that's why some are called speculators...in some coins...me with this one. I think it is worth the gamble. The Great Wall has to be one of the best ever, and done by a renown designer. At 130.00 a coin, I'll take my chances. As a matter of fact, if I had 300.00 right now, I'd by the 2 that are listed right now. Actually, I'd contact him at [email protected] and ask him for direct bill via PayPal for 130.00 a piece!! LOL.

Totally agree. Might be the only year with 3 panda :). And the price for the 5oz is very attractive.

Funny! :) too rich for my blood. 6 of these silver medals for posterity. I may lose, stay even, or hit it big with this low mintage silver medal...doesn't matter to me. I think they are a beautiful. When I like them, I buy them. I'd rather have 10 of one coin that I love vs. a whole set just because. That's just me. I love these. Stark, as a side note, what was I thinking buying so many dang colored coins. Phewie. :) can't unload them, or I'll get pennies on the dollar. Phewie. You still have you beautiful colors? :)

:) Yup, it's to expensive. Although it's very nice gold coin. :) I wanted to buy one of these Shanghai Panda coin, but I'm saving money for one Norfed coin. And then I'm probably finished for this year. Bankruptcy for silver. :)

I've sold all mine colored coins. I've kept only one, because it's our best (woman) skier on it. Also price for that coin dropped quite a lot. But I like her, so.... :D

You should really thank me - I had 3 of those in my cart when they were still at $120! Talked myself out of it, got one at 130 so happy with that. Even if not a winner, still a very nice medal with limited mintage by original panda designer (I think).

Yeah, but this was done by the Shanghai mint, so no worries. This guy submitted his medal, that's why he is sharing the news. :)!

Yeah, I bought 7 of these bad boys. I wish I had seen them for 90.00 when they came out. Bummer. I paid 130. I think if you reach out to via email you could get a better price. Although he said he had only a 100, and this could be his last, hence when the increase in the price. The other seller has them for 208.00. I can't wait to get mine graded. :)
