1937A 2 Reichmark Silver & Gold Coin

Does anyone know much about this coin? I can find plenty of information on silver ones and gold ones but not this one. Not holding my breath but thought I would give the forum a try. First attempt at loading pics also. Hope they turn out.

So would that have been done recently with an old coin or minted and the gold put on in 1937? Hmm, intriguing.

 

Without a doubt this is a poor aftermarket job done with a plating pen. The coin is legit though.

Definitely after market .

German Reichsmark is genuine but it never came with gold plating.

IMHO it destroys the value of the coin more so then it adds anything.

So I guess all those other gold plated ones are after market jobs also. Anyhow thanks, I have learnt something today.

 

Would these be relatively easy to find, and are there any places in Australia that would sell them?
