Why is this site so "Australia" heavy?

You say that now but just wait until your internets are full of people from overseas coming here and trying to use our websites.

We should wait until everyone here has 1Gb/s fiber connections before letting any foreigners come and visit Silver Stackers. We all know that they're just using their "visit" to try to get permanent residency on the forum anyway.

    To all non-Australian readers:

The Australian sense of humour is quite unique in that an insult is usually considered friendly banter and, quite illogically, is only offensive if the word 'mate' is attached.

You wouldn't know a Kook if it came at you from behind
    (friendly)

Mate, you wouldn't know a Kook if it came at you from behind.
    (unfriendly).

Indeed, casual racism is as Australian as Bob Hawke, it's just a really fine line

It looks like "mate" needs to be the prefix.

Just becasue you live in Australia doesn't mean you're Australian ;)

I've talked to plenty of members who live on the Great Southern Land but are actually citizens elsewhere or have strong connections to other countries. Gives the forum a nice international flavour

Reason why there are not many Brits here we're all broke. Paying too much tax for our government to piss up the wall. :)

The problem with common sense is that everyone thinks they have just enough.

A good question, perhaps it is a case of google not showing the site in the search result if you do searches outside Australia?

Anyway, the best place on earth right now for stackers is right here in Perth, whereby we can just rock up to Perth Mint to get whatever we want....!

You can all come on up to Canada. We have plenty of space and are happy to have you...especially if you speak English! :)
