    Just wondering what one of these coins would be worth currently,

    Mintage is 739

    Very high asking prices, but they do look to be in really good condition.

    What about if it a few little scratches?

    From experience, the value of a scratched lunar becomes very subjective, and open to personal opinion.
    I wouldn't pay a premium for a sub-par coin.
    But I have seen sought after lunars sell for about spot + 20% with minor scratches or hairlines.

    I guess it's only worth as much as someone is willing to pay for it :p

    but how did it get scratches? why would someone open it?:(

    100% agree - especially considering how much the selling price can differ depending on condition!

    Especially the Americans like taking them out of the capsules :rolleyes:
