Wow. Didn't know the gold coin was that popular! http://www.providentmetals.com/2013-canadian-gold-superman-coin-the-early-years.html Good thing we got 2!
Well, I guess one should never say never...as I recently said, never, no never would I buy a Canadian coin as they suck poop when it comes to white spots. However, I read from someone here that they have a lot of collectibles from the RCM, and they have never seen spots. I went on faith and bought 5 of the S shield for a long-term hold. If I get nervous, I'll sell 3...I guess I can't go wrong at 121.00 all-in...thanks for the vote of confidence whoever you are...hope you are right...I give the RCM this chance to prove me wrong. Come on RCM, Please come thru and never show white spots on these coins.
^I think that was lost words...and I will side with him in that for anything thats in my collection for which I've been holding for a couple years now, I see no spots.
Hey WSD, thanks for the positive words. Really appreciate it. I look forward to getting my horses. Yeeeee hawwwww.
Good prices for U.S. Buyers, although they may drop. 10,000 coins, is quite a bit. http://www.talismancoins.com/servlet/Detail?no=2416
Barsenault.... I wouldn't takes Talisman coin's price seriously. All their sales price are actual retail price. They alway jacked up their retail price and put a sales on them to make it look like there's a sale. As for the superman gold coin, I don't think anybody saw that coming. I could of gotten a few of them but refuse to because of the $100 tax on each one of them... which would make it $850 per coin after tax. Now, $850 seems nothing when you look at the gold coin on Ebay. As for RCM, I can't defend them for coming out a bunch of coins or how their bullion coins have milk spots. The only one I defending them for is that there's no milk spots on their numismatic coin and no Dandruffs in them either!!! I've recently purchased the new britannia proof coin from Royal Mint... damn it, they have Dandruffs(dusk) in them!!!
My wife was flabbergasted when she saw what the gold coins were fetching on eBay. Easily a 2/3x return on investment per coin! And it's not even a month since the coins were launched. You should definitely try ordering those coins on talisman, cos I doubt they would last long!
I think this has been beaten to death- RCM DOES NOT PRODUCE ANY MILK SPOTS ON THEIR NUMI COINS THE END
That's another topic all together. Um, you should google "Talisman don't send my coin" "Talisman did not send the pre-sale coins" "Talisman f me over" I personally will never ever spend $1 at Talisman. This should be their slogan "We ship you pre-sale coin or coins we sold at lower price ONLY if it never get hot or if no one else wanted it"
Keep in mind we are refering to the one that comes with C.O.A or in a box. Lots of people mistaken the wildlife series as Numismatic. Those are Bullion with the collectibility (I like to refer to them as Semi-Numismactic)
The S Shield coin is not that hot so you might get it. For those ordered gold coin from Talisman when it was below $1000. Best of luck to you.
Yeah, you are probably right, as there are 10,000 that needs to be unloaded....thems are a lot of coins...plus all the other silver versions...I like the shield though...I've rolled the Vegas dice...let's see what happens...wasn't going to buy colored any more either...but I figure not too many super man coins out there...I'll take my chances. . I just hope I can't do any worse than break even. LOL.
Just saw this on Apmex...no picture though...mintage of 25 coins and all COA's signed by Stan Lee!!!! http://www.apmex.com/product/78860/niue-2013-1-oz-silver-50-years-of-spider-man-coa-signed-by-lee
Or get rid of them when the selling is good. Cause all good things come to an end. . Hope it is different this time.
