I've seen the leaked pic and I like it but I'm not overly impressed by it, I will still try to get a few rolls if the price is right, this silly move in spots not going to help though.

As for how long to sell out, I have no idea, I wouldn't expect them to be in stock at the mint for longer than a month

Hmm. I can still get snakes prior to the horse launch.

Maybe you can still get them horses next year.

All 1 oz. Bullion Coins at the Perth mint as today have sold out, accept for the 1oz. Koala 2013.
I think with the spot still pretty low, then comes September this will all goes too.
Unless there are other 1oz. bullions issue.
Cant get the 1 oz. Snake at the mint. Only at the secondary market.
Not many dealers have the 1 oz. Snakes too.

Id say by the end of October the Perth Mint will say they have "sold out" which just means dealers have the whole mintage from then on. As for the larger dealers running out wont be this year.

And...if the AUD drops further...those horses are going to be very expensive. :|

One clever guy I know... hedged when metal was cheap and AUD was high. :D

He'll be buying expensive horses with cheap metal! ;)

What we get allocated will be sold out within days.
Much more demand for horse than snake.

    Yep much faster.
Snakes were hanging around at the dealers for a while but eventually went.
Dont think horses will be hanging around as long as snake.

They'll (horses) be hanging around somewhere. Althought the snakes were sold out, APMEX still has them...and they were recently as low as 38...so, even though everyone was sold out, not everyone was...as I said, if these thing open with a price higher than 40, have fun, I'll wait instead for my crazy kooks. If they open at 38, or lower, I hope to get a roll or 2, but I'm patient, and if get NONE, oh well, I'll get something else. There are lots of good silver buys out there.

P.s. update, APMEX must have just sold out of their snakes...must have just happened. MCM has them for about 43. Roll of 20.

    All the best.

These will sell out quickly. Not as fast as dragons but much quicker than snakes. My gut feeling is within the first 48 hrs.

As most have learnt from previous years unless you have to have it on release just wait till the excitement wears off and there will be stock in the secondary market often at lower than release prices.

Although the Perth Mint will say "sold out" by the end of October, the reality will be you will still be able to buy the Horse from dealers months after who just use price as a means of rationing. ie. There is high demand so dealers will just charge $50 a coin or $60 etc and that way maximize their profit while maintaining stock.

Also agree dealers will be charging a premium during the hype period ( and so they should )
But this hype period only last so long.....then prices come back to reality.

This will be my first lunar launch.

Just wondering whatever the mint sells them at is the base line right? So mint sells them at $35 that would be the least the dealers will sell it for right?
