From the MM? doubt they'll post declared mintages on the cannabis and AG-47 - they're certainly a small number though. Wouldn't surprise me if the number is under 10k. I think when they get re-released in the near future with another mint there is no mintage cap, they'll sell whatever they can in the time they allocate (1-2 months).
Bullion cannabis coin? I haven't heard of this, do you have any other details? A picture? Who released it?
It is a SBSS coin.. there is also a coin with a mull leaf on one side and a image of the queens skull on the other side and it is names.. "your highness* Only a proof coin thou, no bu of that one Effing brilliant !!
Cannabis BU Do not know the mintage Highness COA on the reed These coins are from Mulligan Mint. [imgz=http://forums.silverstackers.com/uploads/1115_1-dsc02692.jpg][/imgz]
SBSS is no longer with the mulligan mint, they are with the sunshine mint, it is unknown whether they will reproduce the MM coins, like your highness or the 5 oz debt and death coin, however they just recently released the AG47 through the sunshine mint, so the chances of seeing these coins in the future are probably pretty good. See silvergoldbull.com for the coins.
Sorry, wrong info. Golden State Mint, not Sunshine. The Cannabis coin is being released again - like the AG47, there are design differences to set it apart from the one produced by Mulligan Mint. Pics will be released this weekend. They are supposed to be under embargo until then.
So it's not a an actual coin (legal tender), just a medal? Is this to celebrate medicinal marijuana being legal in Canada or something?
Golden State Mint SBSS coins have no mintage limits, just mintage windows for ordering by dealers - once the close date is reached, mintages will be closed off to new orders, and presumably mintages announced.
If anyone's interested in the gripping drama of the fractured partnership between Chris Duane (Silver Bullet Silver Shield Founder) and Rob Grey (Mulligan Mint.) Chris Duane's Side Rob Grey's Side Chris Duane is re-releasing the Cannabis Rounds. If they are anything like his re-release of 'Warbird', I wouldn't pay too much over spot. I was very disappointed in the quality.
I thought the mint quality on these was perfectly fine - Friday at our office was spent packing a few thousand of them for distribution and orders - no issues here with the mint quality. I'm not particularly a fan of the fat rim - but it's an aesthetic choice, not a quality issue. Golden State Mint are producing a nice product.
Thanks for the info, also any idea when the love and the AR are coming in? And are you going to do the cannabis ones too?
^^ never mind, just found the round now, I usually just check the front page of gold stackers to see of there's anything new
