US legal tender.

    members here have often stated that the US must issue legal gold and silver coins as mandated by the US Constitution, and that the greenback is in fact illegal.

    Do I have that right, and can someone give me a link please? I cannot find it.

    Only true for the states (if at all) - i.e. Federal Govt can make any money it chooses (but "money" is apparently not defined in the constitution).

    Some guy proved tax was against the law last year from memory, and the judge said youre right but i dont want to upset the system.
    and ruled against him anyhow for the common good.
    thats what you get with foreigners controlling our courts.
    We used to have juries for civil matters in NSW, if you read the old laws for jury selection.

    This article ( which I didnt bother tracing back to the source) is supposed to be a report from the Russian prime minister or someone, advising Russians to pull their cash out of western banks as they're about to collapse.

    If true, I assume it is a revenge move to get people to take their money out of western banks, rather than that they will actually collapse.

    Although the timing does fit with the pope providing authority for the defacto governments of the world come september 1.

    that article came through an email circular from a very unreliable source, by the way.

    I dont have my finger on the pulse of email rumour circulars, I prefer to create the rumours.
