According to Dennis Gartman on the Kitco website, www.kitco.com/news/video/show/on-the-spot/380/2013-07-23/Gartman-Back-To-Gold-Leaves-Silver-For-Young--Foolish he has gone bullish on gold but is leaving silver to the "young and foolish". I'd say foolish = 'DILL'. +1 for Dill. What if you are silver haired? A-ha, old fool.
I got no hair. Age is no barrier to being a Dill. That Dennis Gartman sounds like a bit of a scam artist though.
Im neither bullish or bearish. I don't subscribe to terms, labels. I simply sell for more than I paid and buy on dips, sell on highs. I use silver as nothing more than to make money. I don't find it particularly pretty, I haven't held any of my coins in a long time and I'd just assume sell then to keep.
So you haven't recieved your big order of 180 10oz. kooks yet I take it? Haven't "sniffed" or taken one out of a capsule and "played" with one yet.
Oh, I got them...but, they're in my safe. I looked at them, and then put them away and haven't looked since.
^where is the fun in that..my job makes me money, silver and gold are for fun...kinda like a hobby..i can think of better ways to make money that don't require CGT or waiting for a dip to buy or a high to sell.JMO who doesn't wanna be a pirate in 2013?
There is no fun "in that." Not for me anyway. I can think of a ton of ways to make money that require work/effort...but, this is money that would be sitting in a saving account earning .8 % a year. As long as I get 2-5% returns, I'm better off. I just don't think silver is attractive and I certainly don't look at it with wide-eyes. Gold, that's a different story.
No, just a guy with a few thousand ounces averaged down to very low 20's. If it hits 30, I'll be a very happy man.
Scam? What scam? I swear your great uncle died leaving you his fortune, I just need a few thousand to cover... the transfer... tax... or something. It's legit.
