Oh, good God! That's beyond sad. That's tragic. Get a DVD recorder, record the show, get out there and chase the women! You can watch the recordings later when you're old and your eyes, knees and everything else in between have given up the ghost, but you can only chase the women when everything is still working. I'm half-deaf, myopic and I've already had one total hip replacement. I can only just barely hear them out there, laughing at me. Every time I try to hobble toward the laughter, I can just barely hear the sound of running feet and then it's all quiet again. That's when I finish my beer, go home and watch Dr. Who.
It arrived today. The packaging makes it worth it. The TARDIS is plastic, with a lot of detail, you would pay a bit just for that as a toy. It comes in a nice cardboard box, then has the TARDIS inside. The vwoorp noise is okay, a nice touch but the overall TARDIS makes it great. The coin itself is a palish blue with a silver TARDIS, nice detail. Overall I am very happy with it, and if you are a Dr Who fan it's well worth it. I don't collect numi's really but I am happy I got this one.
This is an NZ Mint product...the Perth Mint is simply reselling it... Most dealers including myself likely have this available.
When does the set of coins with all the different doctors come out ? I wonder how hard it will be to get a set?
Are the sets popular? I'm not a big Dr Who fan so I only ordered a few of the Single coins along with my large Feng Shui Crane order .
I don't know the mintage of the 11 coin set or the exact date its coming out , this year sometime. This is about all the info I could find, I thought I saw a picture of the coins a while ago but cant find it anymore. Seems to me the price was around $499 but I cant seem to find more info on it atm. http://www.perthmint.com.au/catalogue/doctor-who-50th-anniversary-2013-1oz-silver-proof-coin.aspx
It looks like there is only 1 left at the Perth Mint? I've never seen only 1 left of anything before!
Well I trust you have put your name all over it because if Perth Mint have sold out of these beauties it will be interesting to watch for any price movement on ebay I still have two spare of these if your looking
