Hello everyone, Just a quick question, i was wondering if there is a proof and a non-proof 1999 1/2oz silver rabbit? Or ar the coins all the same Photos would be appreciated in telling the differance between the two and would be much appreciated Thank you
Yes there are both proof and unc versions don't have photos but in the proof the bunny is frosted and the background is mirrored and the unc is the other way round - the bunny is shiny and the background is frosted this is pretty much the same for all proof/unc versions of lunars, kooks etc.
Yep like Trew said, there are both versions the bullion one coming on a capsule and the proof version coming with red box/coa
If you dont have both OR you have never seen the bullion version please do not post the above generic response.. Looking for someone holding a BULLION version to clarify it exists.. Generic response explaining the difference between Proof (mirror background with frosted rabbit) and Bullion i(frosted background mirror rabbit) is not helpful for the purposes of this thread... (although i see it was close to the OP's ~ Q) You guys have identified the difference correctly.. Bullion? Not a real coin image.. although it looks to have less of a mirror background and less frosted rabbit.. would love to see an actual coin image to confirm but.. Proof right? Proof The 1oz Bullion - this is OBVIOUSLY BULLION - looking for a 1/2 ounce Rabbit that looks like this for closure. Another Obvious 1oz Bullion Rabbit.. Its possible no-one has loaded a half ounce rabbit picture on the internet.. this is where my mind is at. Clear as mud... looking at the evidence is more rare than the proof and its scarcer than hare's teeth. 1for1
