To have an idea about gold/silver sales trend over there, I dwelled through the blog: 2012/04 207,109.91 17,575.640 2012/05 437,759.34 30,387.88 2012/06 523,663.46 44,619.05 2012/07 452,692.79 34,026.23 2012/08 338,945.22 37,196.86 2012/09 1,251,580.06 81,095.13 2012/10 457,700.76 54,242.76 2012/11 620,238.26 47,850.77 2012/12 449,529.58 49,581.81 2013/01 670,544.36 65,683.71 2013/02 426,319.29 44,048.62 Total silver sold over these 11 months: 5,836,083.03 so near to 6 Moz, equaling a 11/2=5-6 times less of US Mint. The 2012/09 sales make clear that alot bought when the Comex side drove up the price. A real pity, that is. Is there a source that provides older?
Since the (free) fall in gold prices, demand from investors and bargain hunters is astonishing. While the spot price for gold and silver are still low, premiums are still quite high. I stick to the bullion variety so that I get more metal for my money, and save on those BIG premiums. Just keep stacking, and stacking and stacking on the dips.

A late reply: check the above linked thread. Apparently this topic reflected reality more than that 'opposing view' other topic.
